Intrépide means “fearless” in French and that’s exactly who we are. We are a collective of souls from all walks of life, with one thing in common – a desire to experience life to the fullest while embracing the imperfect, crazy ride we are all on (many times, self-induced). 

One of our favorite quotes is “Once you become fearless, life truly becomes limitless.”

Ask yourself — “what would I do if I wasn’t fearful of failure?” or “how can I get beyond my current hurdles to live my best life?.” Once you start to not only envision it but to begin taking steps in that direction, you have become part of the Intrépide Circle.

The Intrépide Circle was born out of a deep desire to illustrate that while life is not perfect, it is what you make of it. Here, we will tell our stories of the pursuit of happiness while showcasing how anyone can take even baby steps to drive the positive outcomes they visualize.

This site chronicles the journeys of our Founder, Tracey Schaal, as she and her dear friends devise plans to live their “Intrépide” lives.

• Tracey and Deborah will share how their dream life of being ‘flaneurs” (wanderers) in the Dordogne Region of France as they navigate setting up the life après working and raising children.
• Richard will figure out where he wants to live and what is most important to him after the passing of his parents, giving him the freedom to go whatever his heart so chooses.
• Randi shares how she pursued a completely different lifestyle, after a forced career change left few options.
